Based on the reviews I thought it would be ok to go here. This was a mistake.
We were standing outside and waiting for some waiter to seat us. That didn't happen so we seated ourselves. They were quick with the menu but that was all. We have ordered a starter and pizza afterwards at around 20:00. The starter was after around 6 minutes, that was good. But then we waited and waited. After 40 minutes I was trying to make an eye contact with one of the waiters and wave at them (there were like 5 of them) and it took another 15 minutes or so to notice!
After one of them noticed I was trying to speak to them, I explained the situation and he said to wait 2 more minutes. No apology, no anything. So we waited an hour for second course.
After they brought the pizza, they didn't even noticed we have no silverware to eat with (there was only 1 fork and knife that we used for the starter) and it took another 5-10 minutes for them to notice my waving again.
The starter was good but pizza was way below average for Italy. And also for the duration of your stay (outside) there were 6 people with Roses, braceltes etc. for sale and they were approching our table every 5-10 minutes trying to sell something and also 2 homeless people trying to get some money. The restaurant doesn't seem to care.
Also you have empty glasses with empty bottle of water for like 20 minutes and they won't come and ask if you want another. After you have no drink for 20 minutes, one of the waiters will come and take the empty bottle within a second and goes away without asking anything. Maybe I wanted another bottle? A dessert? No - no care at all.
1/5 rating and I not the type of person who regurarly write negative reviews and I'm not...
Read moreABSOLUTE SCAM. Always take photo proof of what they brought you. Good food, horrible service, MUSLIMS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, they might bring you pork instead of beef and force you to pay for the beef. 40+ minutes wait times. Ordered a Ribeye, they brought some white piece of meat, probably pork, we ate it almost fully and then like 30m later they brought another waiter who brought an actual Ribeye. We realized what we were eating all that time wasn't the ordered beef and declined on the Ribeye since we thought ours was the one that arrived before, asked for the waiter to recount our bill to pay for the piece of pork that we got (presumably much cheaper) instead of the expensive ribeye, and he said "I can't tell what meat, You ate all" while there was a big piece of obviously not beef meat still on the plate. When I asked to bring what's left of the meal to the kitchen to tell us what was that we actually got since he "can't tell", he, annoyed, said that we don't have to pay for the meat. We finished the mistery pork piece and went to pay for the rest of the bill, and at the cash registry the same waiter told us that we gotta pay for the expensive ribeye and seem to completely forget his initial words about not paying for the meat that we did not get, he just kept repeating "I could've brought the full dish to the kitchen, when it's eaten I can't tell" untill we gave up and payed for the Ribeye. The waiter actually just lied to our face so we'd calm down untill there's no more proof that they brought us wrong food and we have to pay for it. Don't come here, always take photos/videos...
Read moreThe food was pretty good! We got two pizzas and they tasted quite nice. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. That wasnt because there was a ton of people, it's because our order got lost somewhere. After we mentioned this, our food arrived within 10minutes. The servers understand simple english and are able to take your order in english :)
Unfortunately, what ruined it completely, was the constant beggars and sellers walking by and offering their items. Multiple people walked up to our table asking for money, though I did see the servers shooing them away. The major thing that ruined the atmosphere, was a theft that happened in front of our eyes. A ladies bag was grabbed and the man started walking off, but her husband jumped up and hit him and got the bag back. Im glad it all ended up well. Though pick pockets are common in Italy, seeing this ruined the vibe completely. I know this isnt the fault of the restaurant, but their position in the middle of the path way causes this.
If you visit, keep your bags on your lap and stay safe...
