A great little restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. Populated by locals this small place offers great food and wine at very reasonable prices. The carbonara is the best that I have had and the desserts simply delicious. The house white wine was more than acceptable and very competitively priced. There is only one waiter, who has a very pleasant demeanour, and all the food is freshly prepared so don’t expect rapid service. But hey, you’re in Rome, soak up the ambience. If this place was on a Metro line it would quite rightly be hailed as one of the best trattorias that Rome has to offer.
