Casa Flaminia — Restaurant in Rome

The order took 2 hours 10 minutes to arrive. The last time I ordered, the burger meat was very undercooked so I gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered well-cooked (bon cotte). The meat was raw except for the outside layer. The fries were cold.

The delay was quite possibly the fault of UberEats, I’m not sure how it works. My best guess is that the order was sitting there the whole time because it was so cold. I ordered the same thing at the same time on the same day for three consecutive weeks (early Saturday afternoon), it has always taken about 30 minutes.

My wife and I traveled to Italy in February 2022. While we were in Rome this restaurant was recommended. We made a reservation and was able to get in within the hour. This was one of the top 3 restaurants that we hit In Italy, and our criteria is high (Fello was absolutely that good!). The owner was so personal and attentive, brought us new things to try, had a great sense of humor. The food was amazing, the ambience was warm and personal. Ci siamo fermati con il mio ragazzo per un aperitivo, leggiamo e ci facciamo spiegare le formule ma decidiamo di condividere una pinsa margherita (8 euro) con una fanta (non so quanto costi, ma non penso più di 3 euro) e una birra (6 euro). È importante conoscere i prezzi: aperitivo snack (patatine con bruschette) 10 euro pp, aperitivo food (patatine, bruschette e antipasto a scelta dello chef) 15 euro pp.

Arriviamo alla fine e chiediamo il conto, aggiungo dicendo che la pinsa era precotta, molle e la mozzarella era fredda e semi sciolta. Il totale sarebbe dovuto essere più o meno 16/17 euro. Abbiamo pagato 20 euro, perché la cameriera ha inserito la formula aperitivo automaticamente, ma le pinse, visto che erano segnate con il prezzo accanto, non facevano parte della formula aperitivo. Quindi avremmo dovuto pagare NORMALMENTE bibita e pinsa (senza la formula aperitivo). Quindi a meno che la fanta non costasse 6 euro (se così fosse sposterei il focus della recensione su questo), non tornano i conti. Oltre tutto, visto che ci hanno così tanto tenuto a farci questa formula aperitivo, potevano almeno portarci le patatine, invece no.

Lì per lì non ci abbiamo pensato molto, altrimenti sarei sicuramente tornata indietro a chiedere spiegazioni.
