Ciao Bella — Restaurant in Rome

We’ve been staying at camping village Roma all week! Every night we looked forward to dinner and dessert at Ciao Bella! The food is 5 stars and so are the friendly and helpful staff! The tomato penne pasta was my go to dish most nights! My boyfriend loved the beef burger that comes chips, and he also loved the carbonara! During our week stay we also tried the cheese and pepper pasta on the last night which I wish I knew about earlier because it was delicious! We couldn’t fault the chocolate soufflé or the strawberry cheesecake, or even the cream cake! The price is affordable and if you’re staying in camping Roma it is very convenient because you don’t even need to leave the park! I would recommend even if you aren’t staying in the park! We visited this restaurant because we were camping on the site and we were exhausted. What a treat it was! We were welcomed by the staff (including our dog). We sat down, our order was taken and a bowl of water brought for our dog. Then the food arrived. Spaghetti Carbonara - the real authentic version, not the one laden with cream. What a treat! After our initial stay of one night, we returned a week later and the staff remembered us. We stayed another four nights on the camp site and we ate here every night, choosing a different authentic Italian dish each day. Really high prices, clueless untrained young waiters. Forgot orders, started clearing the table while we were eating. Took 15 minutes to get some ice for our drinks Food was even worse, burger and fries for 16.50. Some of the burgers where bone dry, some completely raw. Fries was close to raw. Fried fish smelled terrible, complained and they refused to take it off the bill as it was supposed to smell bad???? We had a kid with allergies so she could not get the dessert from the kids meny. They had no replacements and started yelling at us. This is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. We have e-mailed the management about it but no reply. The pizza did look good, but with the price and level of service i would reccomend eating at McDonald's...
