Alright I suppose if you like raw meat and don't mind the waiter making faces which he thinks you haven't noticed when asked for the food to be cooked properly. My daughter and myself whilst staying at the Eurocamp nearby visited this place on the 4th May 2022 at 8pm. Just in case the waiter remembers us. We ordered steaks from the menu and noticed that we were not asked how we would like them done. Unperturbed and trusting we ordered beer and a bottle of wine which took ages to arrive even though the place wasn't busy. When the steaks arrived 20 mins later they were nearly raw so we asked for them to be put back on the grill. They were brought back 10 mins later and had not been touched. They were still dripping blood and when my daughter showed this to the waiter who was still at our table he ignored her, walked away shaking his head, mumbling and pulling faces. What was so difficult about putting them back on the grill for a few minutes after all we were paying customers and medium done steaks were our preference. ? If you like well cooked good food and well mannered staff stay away from this place. When you are paying 61euros for your meal then surely the attention they pay to your meal is as important to you as the ingredients and the...
Read moreThis restaurant was very close to the accommodation we stayed in and decided to go here as a change from the usual Italian cuisine. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is really nice and is completely different from the usual pizza and pasta restaurants in rome. We had a couple of picky eaters in out group (not everyone likes pasta and pizza). i found the menu to have an abundance of choice and catered really for whatever you were in the mood for. I went for the mixed tacos on both nights (we went twice) and didn't regret it. The others went for RIbs, burgers, wings and the bbq chicken, over the two nights, there was no complaints. The staff are really friendly, they work hard and speak really good english if you cant manage Italian. Only issue I have and would just give a pre warning is that the OWW sauce is not for everyone (tangy burger sauce type flavour) and is given with most dishes. But, its not in a ramekin dish or anything but just blobbed onto the plate. I would suggest that you ask for it separate or not at all as some wings were wasted on the first night due to them being covered in the sauce. We learned for the second...
Read moreTasty and very good cooked food. The theme Old Wild West is put in place by the fitting dishes, beverages, and interieur design. The food in that sense is creative, as I think espeacially to be mentioned, in the side dishes.
I have one solely critique: The steaks aren't real western steaks, in my opinion. I had the tasty and very good cooked rip eye steak. It came along as a rather flat piece of meat of somewhat around hundred to maybe twohundred grams. That isn't, in my humble opinion, a western steak but more a schnitzel. I associate with western steak a piece of well hung meat, several centimeters thick, and twohundredandfifty grams at minimum. They should serve that and charge more.
The other food was just increadible! The spare rips soft and tender, the burgers tasty and big. It was a true joy to eat there!
Highly recommended by me...
