We had a really bad experience at this place, and I feel like I have to write this review, so the owners knew about this too, and maybe do something about it. It's okay if you don't have any free tables, it's okay if we can't sit down to have a dinner. It's even okay, that you don't like tourists – I get it, lots of people in Rome, I imagine it can be overwhelming. What it isn't okay, is the total lack of respect towards the people who come to your place. With utmost respect, I tried in Italian (although it's not my native language) to inquire if we (2 persons) can sit at a table to have dinner. A simple "NO, we're full" would've been enough, but all we got was some totally rude muttering and murmuring, then the owner (?) just left us there standing by the door. We waited about ten minutes, and every time I tried to ask her something, she nearly knocked me over, so we just left. The moral of the story (for me at least): you can have the best food in the world, if you can't treat people with respect, maybe it's time to rethink your priorities.
Later edit: my problem isn't that we couldn't find a table. My problem is, that nobody from the staff would say one single complete sentence, or at least a "no table for you" to us. We were just left there standing at the entrance like some fools. I've been to many busy places in many countries, but I've never ever experienced such unfriendly behavior. And I think it is my right to write about what happened to me at your restaurant, even if I didn't eat there. I wish you all the best and many...

That carbonara the silkiness of the egg yolk and the Parmesan blended all together with the crispiness and smokiness of The guanchale (aka bacon) all that combination of flavors, textures and smells makes this dish supreme. One of the best pastas dishes I have ever had the quality and the execution of the dish. Very very tasteful. As for the service, is so welcoming laid-back great wines not expensive home feeling family all around proper...
Read moreAuthentic Italian experience! We spoke no Italian and they spoke no English but the experience was seamless. The staff were really warm and welcoming and the food was incredibly good. I had a steak which was melting in the mouth and my partner had carbonara which he said was the best he had in Rome. We also had panna cotta and chocolate fondant which again was out of this world. We were the only foreign couple but it was no bother, everyone was friendly. We would 100% recommend. We shared a bottle of wine and had two courses and paid...
