Sundarban Ristorante — Restaurant in Rome

A good Bangladeshi restaurant held back by awful management. My Bangladeshi partner and I tried this place during our Rome trip because she wanted to have some authentic Bangladeshi/Bengali food. And the food is, I'm happy to say, very nice! My partner loved the fuchka and biryani she ordered, while I enjoyed my butter chicken and the naan bread. The waiters were nice and friendly, but the restaurant seems to have one very big issue and that is what I presume is the owner/manager of the place. He was loudly yelling at his staff in the restaurant, in full view of all guests, and made the atmosphere very unpleasant. It was awful to see how poorly he treated his staff and the only reason I'm not giving the atmosphere 1/5 stars is that the waiters tried their best to be helpful and professional in the circumstances. But frankly it was shocking behavior from the manager. Such a shame, as the food truly was nice and as far as I understand it it's hard to find authentic Bangladeshi cuisine like this...

This place has the potential to be the BEST Indian/Bengali restaurant in Rome. BUT they are very inconsistent with the taste. We always order the same things and while one time it's heavenly good, next time it's different. The korma was incredible in the summer, then went mid for some reason for months, now they are back to good. We wanted to order something different last week and got the curry. It was great so we ordered again, completely different, unpleasant even. Same with naan, sometimes it's super good sometimes it's mid. Also sometimes one person gets a bunch of bones, it's imbalanced. I don't know if it changes depending on the chef's mood or if there are too many people in the kitchen but keeping up the standard would be much appreciated as we absolutely...

Hello People! The experience was so disappointing. Food and even with behaviour of the person who was at cash counter.

I ordered the chicken butter masala, but unfortunately, the chicken had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the taste was far from what I expected. It was a disappointing dining experience.
