I had high hopes for this place after seeing so many great reviews, but after actually tasting the food, I can’t help but wonder if those reviews were either exaggerated or just outright fake! The food was far from authentic, and even setting tradition aside, it simply didn’t taste good; the ghormeh sabzi, for example, tasted like sour water with some herbs thrown in! The only dish that somewhat resembled its original flavor was the doner kebab, ironically, not even a Persian dish! The tea was decent, but that’s about it.
The atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming, which might explain why the restaurant was completely empty on a Sunday night. The price-to-quality ratio is also way off definitely not worth what they charge. On the plus side, the owner and the only Iranian staff member were very kind, but sadly, good service alone doesn’t make up for everything else!

Read moreThe experience was all around terrible. First, the food didn’t taste anything. The kubideh was hard and stiff. Worst of all came when we went to the counter to pay. We payed €60 for two portions two drinks and some appetizers. When we told the guy that we come from Sweden and that we can eat everything that we ate here plus more for less than €20, he started to scream at us, he was calling us liars, then he started to shout about the quality of his food, and that he paid a lot for the meat. Which is not understandable at all since virtually everything costs more in Sweden. He claimed that it’s impossible to sell for less than what he is selling and that in sweden we should pay at least €100. Pretty stupid of him to argue with two people about the situation in sweden with people who are from sweden. And the quality he was bragging about was not even there. I cannot understand how some people...
Read moreI was literally hooked at this restaurant and ate here every 2 days during my 3 weeks stay in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is so authentic. The food is made with love and care and superior quality. The food you see is a lambslow cooked for 9 hours and perfectly tender. Chicken dishes are also excellent. Rice with saffron. For vegetarians/vegans you have a good lentil dish. Red wine super affordable and top quality(dry but balanced), the dough, a salty yogurt drink with fresh herbs is addictive. The baklava is super fresh and the best one I ever eat. Ice cream with rosewater also worth it. Staff very kind and owner is a warm man who greets...
