Tourists beware, ordering off the menu will cost you! With the menu only available in Italian, we naively took the 'waiter's recommendation' who insisted the food will be a "good price and cheap". Our bill came back over €220+ for 4 x people. To compare, the avg. main was €12-15 and starters were around €5 - €9 a plate, so we were definitely shocked to see it over €220. We also didn't order dessert (after explicitly telling the waiter - no dessert), another waiter brought over 4 x Cannoli which we presumed were on the house. Nope, the bill came back and they charged us €5 for each Cannoli! No tip for this waiter this...

I am so confused by the reviews and recommendations - and so many stars?? Let me start with Ihave been living in Italy for many years - so its not a "misunderstanding of Italian cuisine". I went with Italians as well. Food was cafeteria quality - oily and not even very fresh. The pasta alla norma (which I normally love) was horrible and we just did not eat any of it. I would not return. The photos online must be very old because the reality is something completely different. The interior dining room was extremely outdated, with the floor dirty and stained and the wall decor literally peeling off the wall and discolored. The antipasti were nice, but my pasta very disappointing, under-salted mushy and not appetizing.
