BEST MEAL OF OUR VACATION.

We got caught in terrible tourist traps (like Roma Sparita - worst restaurant ever) and we had written off Rome as a place we would never come back to. This place literally saved the day.

4 cheese pizza and margarita pizzas were amazing. Arranchini amazing. Staff was the nicest we encountered while in Rome. REALLY fun music and vibe.

Locale carino, bel giardinetto per mangiare all'esterno, pizza tipo "Napoli" a bordo alto ... Al Romano non fa impazzire!! Però i condimenti sono vari e fantasiosi... Qualcuno ben riuscito qualche altro ... Così così. I fritti sono degni di nota. Croccanti, abbastanza asciutti ed una buona pastella. Poi però le note dolenti; nel menù non sono segnalati gli allergeni e questo è abbastanza grave, oltreché fuori norma; il servizio è sufficientemente celere ma... Un cameriere che ti passa davanti il naso per posare il piatto al tuo vicino di tavola... Beh... Non è simpatico. Non indossare divise per servire in tavola non è una questione estetica quanto di igiene. Bibite... Se chiedi birre alla spina... Assortimento da pub, la spinatura lascia a desiderare, bicchieri inadeguati. I vini sono stati scelti senza una base di competenza e pagare 4 o 5 € un calice di vino assolutamente normale, da pasto... Non ti dico un Tavernello ma poco ci manca!!

Diciamo che, come locale, ha una potenzialità di gran lunga superiore e basterebbe quel po' di professionalità in più per essere un Ottimo locale mentre quest'ultima è lasciata in mano all'esperienza individuale del personale. Qualcuno ne ha, e si vede!! Ma dovrebbe essere l'occhio del padrone ad ingrassare il cavallo !! Senza lode e senza infamia, di sicuro non ci si sposta di quartiere per andarci!! Peccato, meriterebbe sicuramente qualcosina in più da parte di chi lo gestisce ed il suo successo sarebbe...
