Pigneto — Local services in Rome

Pigneto is an underground station of Metro C Line 🟢🚇. The station is located at Via del Pigneto. It is generally well kept and tidy with working escalators and elevators and also has stairs access.

It is a hip/cool neighborhood of Rome so there are street arts scattered in this place. One of which is called Intersection. It was installed in 2015 by the artist 2501 (Jacopo Ceccarelli). Instagram (@never2501).

In der Google Beschreibung steht für Pigneto, dass es ein cooles aufstrebendes, hippes Viertel sein soll mit coolen Bars und Restaurants. Vielleicht bin ich von DE oder Berlin etwas anderes gewohnt aber wir waren Abends mit dem Lime Roller durchgefahren weil unser AirBnb in der Nähe war. Es gab leider nicht viele einladende Bars zum Cocktail trinken. Von allen Seiten wurde einem catcalling mäßig Dinge zugerufen und der Anteil an runlungernden männlichen Personen ist hoch. Ich war froh das wir (zwei Mädels 26 und 30) mit den Lime Rollern unterwegs waren. Vielleicht auch einfach nicht das richtige Viertel. Also für alle die den Rom Trip planen würde ich einfach Pigneto in der Nacht meiden. Aber macht euch vielleicht...

Prendo la metro per tornare a casa da scuola e viceversa tutti i giorni. Stazione esteticamente molto bella, nell'atrio prima dei tornelli ci sono ampi lucernai che fanno passare molta luce solare. Ci sono gli ascensori e anche i bagni. Situata in un quartiere molto vivo vicino San Giovanni. Ultimamente c'è sempre del personale di sicurezza a disposizione che vigila l'area. 4 stelle perché ultimamente le scale mobili per andare alla banchina non funzionano (ci sono sempre gli ascensori e le scale classiche) e umidità si può vedere nella zona dei lucernai.
