Pizzeria Trattoria Da Pinuccio — Restaurant in Rome

Staying in the location decided to find restaurant that was not touristy. Pizzeria Trattoria Da Pinuccio was brilliant. We do not speak Italian ( from Australia) but friendliness, service and willingness to help made us feel special. Had Straccetti - traditional Italian meal hailing from Rome. Delicious. Other dish was risotto. Again very very enjoyable. Father son do all the waiting and come 9pm very very busy. Still have time for a smile. We did not book and got there about 8.30. Highly recommend. I met some friends for lunch here recently, I had never been there before. We were greeted warmly and chown to a table. The draft beer was cold and refreshing and the other guys took the house wine. We started with "Carciofi alla Judea" which if you have never tried then you really should!!! And then we had 3 different pasta dishes and mine was fantastic, cachio and peppe.

DA PINUCCIO: MANGIARE BENE IN UN’ATMOSFERA SPECIALE Abito nello stabile che ospita questa deliziosa trattoria-pizzeria e, ieri, come altre mille volte, ho mangiato la loro ineguagliabile pizza alla romana! Uscendo mi sono chiesta come mai non ho pensato prima di scrivere una recensione per una trattoria-pizzeria al top della qualità. E non solo dei cibi, ma per l’atmosfera calorosa creata dall’accoglienza del proprietario, della moglie, del figlio e dei ragazzi della cucina. Sempre sorridenti, disponibili e simpatici. Un menu che presenta tante squisitezze. Dagli antipasti, provate gli squisiti fritti vegetali, ai primi, tra i quali spiccano i rigatoni alla carbonara, una ricetta apprezzata e replicata in tutto il mondo e realizzata qui alla perfezione.
