Sushi OyaKoi Parco de Medici — Restaurant in Rome

The sushi was great, but the “slow” all you can eat concept was a disaster. We were attracted to the all you can eat for 15€ signs in front of the restaurant, and we asked the waitress if we can pick among all dishes in the menu card. We were told that we could just order what we wanted, but when we were ready to pay, it turned out that we had to pay 30€ for each person, since there were different 15€ options depending on what kind of sushi you ordered. We were NEVER told that, and when we should pay, we were presented with a new menu card page we didn’t have seen before. This was totally wrong, and we were very disappointed with that kind of marketing trap. I was a bit skeptical about the all you can eat thing, but I will say it was all very good! The dishes had great taste and were of a nice size. However, The service was disorganized and lacking of attention to detail, for example; when one orders edamame, pls bring an extra plate for the discards. Veniamo spesso a pranzo il sabato e qualche volta a cena. Abbiamo frequentato altri ristoranti sushi, ma poi torniamo sempre qui per vari motivi. La qualità è ottima e infatti il prezzo un po’ più alto rispetto alla media degli all-you-can-eat tutto sommato è giustificato. Il pranzo costa meno rispetto alla cena. Il menù varia spesso, per cui ci si trova a provare sempre cibi diversi. Consiglio i piatti giappo perché i piatti tipo cinese sono un po’ come tutti gli altri ristoranti. Le tartare sono speciali. La sera c’è anche il servizio al nastro, il giorno solo al tavolo. Hanno anche il vino Oppidum, che non si trova facilmente e che trovo delizioso. La sera nei fine settimana c’è spesso musica dal vivo, quasi sempre molto gradevole. Il parcheggio è sempre garantito, vicino e gratuito. Il personale è gentile ed efficiente.
