Il Ceppo Affetteria Roncadelle — Restaurant in Roncadelle

We were on our way back from Bergamo airport and were looking for something to eat that wasn't a sandwich from Autogrill. On Google maps "Il Ceppo" was the highest rated among the nearest restaurants in the area. The restaurant is a few km off Brescia Ovest. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was a culinary experience. Extremely HIGH quality food, most of what we ate was made by them. My son had the best burger he has ever had and the adults shared two "taglieri" of cheese and different cold cuts. Their home-made focaccia was amazing, we had to ask for more. They also let us try some home-made dessert that we end up buying to take home. Keep it up, guys! I hope to come back again!! I must say everything is a 10/10 here! Quality of food and service is excellent! The ‘ceppi’ are quite large and I could do the trick with 4 affettati of choice + tris polenta (if you are hungry). My personal favorite were lardo and bresaola. The bread is home made and extremely tasty. Props to the staff as well, very kind and respectful. I highly recommend a visit...

Ottimo locale accogliente e rilassante in cui assaporare sfiziosi taglieri di salumi, provenienti dalle loro tipiche località di produzione; coppa, culatello, speck, pancetta, lardo, prosciutto, salame, formaggi; il tutto accompagnato da salse, piuttosto che giardiniera e/o altro. Il personale è cordialissimo e molto preparato sulle provenienze dei prodotti, consigliando e aiutando nella scelta. Non è cosa da tutti i giorni, ma una volta ogni tanto ci si può permettere un bel tagliere di ottimi affettati con un sottofondo musicale gradevole e questo luogo è l'ideale....
