Il Pesce Nero — Restaurant in Rosignano Marittimo

We had dinner on Thursday evening and honestly it was the best meal we had both in Italy over our 8 day vacation. A beautiful family run restaurant overlooking the main plaza with some wonderful service and quality of food & wine. The service was very personable our Italian is no good at all but they treated us so well and we made it work. The chef came out and showed us the specials of the day a local fish and lobster. We went ahead with a beautiful seafood platter and the octopus as starter - absolutely stunning! For the main we had the local fish with grilled vegetables again so fresh so beautiful and simply cooked that it was everything. Finally although we are not a dessert couple and haven't had dessert over 6 days we had to try their tiramisu and it did not disappoint the biscuit was delicious overall all the flavours. We absolutely loved our experience and wish we can go back soon sometime in the future. We definitely highly recommend Ill Pesce Nero.

Das Restaurant ist einfach hervorragend! Das Personal ist superfreundlich, herzlich und äußerst zuvorkommend, was den Besuch zu einem wahren Genuss macht. Das familiäre und sympathische Ambiente verleiht dem Restaurant eine besondere Atmosphäre und sorgt dafür, dass man sich direkt wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist absolut erstklassig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders die Fischspezialität ist ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus und zeugt von der Leidenschaft und Expertise des Kochs, der seit 40 Jahren auf Fisch spezialisiert ist und früher sogar als aktiver Fischer tätig war. Die abwechslungsreichen Menüs, die je nach Tagesfisch variieren, sorgen für eine kulinarische Vielfalt und immer neue Geschmackserlebnisse. Besonders beeindruckend war, dass der Koch sogar nach Feierabend zu uns kam, um mit uns zu plaudern, begleitet von der aufmerksamen Bedienung. Diese persönliche Note zeigt die Hingabe und Leidenschaft des gesamten Teams für ihre Arbeit. Auch der gute Weißwein passte hervorragend zu den köstlichen Gerichten und rundete das kulinarische Erlebnis perfekt ab. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare presso Il Pesce Nero, e l’esperienza è stata eccezionale. Il ristorante offre un'atmosfera accogliente perfetta per chi cerca una serata all'insegna del buon cibo e del relax. Il menù è una vera celebrazione del pesce fresco: ogni piatto è preparato con cura e creatività, mettendo in risalto i sapori del mare. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto "polpo grigliato su crema di ceci"  che si scioglieva in bocca, con ingredienti di altissima qualità e presentati in modo impeccabile. I primi piatti, come gli "spaghetti con pomodorini, pistacchio e tartare di gambero" erano bilanciati e deliziosi, con porzioni generose e condimenti che esaltavano il gusto naturale del pesce. Anche il secondo, "grigliata di crostacei e calamri, era sublime: il pesce era cotto alla perfezione, succoso e saporito. La cena è terminata con i dolci  bellissimi da vedere e ottimi da mangiare! Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con uno staff gentile, attento e pronto a dare ottimi consigli sia sul menù che sugli abbinamenti di vino.
