Ristorante Oriente — Restaurant in Rovigo

Place is what we call “a hole in the wall”. Some can be really good ones. This one happens to be one of the subpar ones. I had sweet and sour pork, it was greasy pieces of pork. No low sodium soy sauce. They didn’t run out it. They just don’t have it. Another dish, a supposedly Thai with seafood (I guess their attempt at a pad Thai) was as far away from a pad Thai as you could get with egg noodles and tons of surimi with some shrimp.

Questa è la cosa più buona che abbia mai mangiato in Italia! Essendo una persona attenta al cibo, non sono attratta dalla cucina italiana insipida. Amo le combinazioni di sapori vivaci, le spezie e le salse, i peperoncini e la carne succosa. Ecco perché in Italia mangio abitualmente cucina turca, georgiana e asiatica. Ma questo ristorante è il migliore di tutti quelli che ho visitato nell'ultimo anno e mezzo di vita in Italia. E l'Oriente non è un ristorante cinese, come dice google maps, è una cucina mista di Giappone e Cina. Questo posto combina perfettamente un buon servizio, la sincerità e la gentilezza degli asiatici e cibo di alta qualità, fresco e gustoso. E sì, è anche importante: il team del ristorante riesce magicamente a fare il prezzo più basso della città per i suoi piatti. Ragazzi, siete INCREDIBILI!!! GRAZIE!!!
