Before reading my review, I urge you to first read the response from the restaurant. From the unprofessional and unnecessarily offensive tone directed at me (similar to previous reviewer), one can glean the quality of the establishment. ..And of course fell free to follow me around the world ;)
We arrived at Osteria BorgoVentidue with high expectations fueled by glowing Google reviews, but sadly, our experience fell far short. The overall quality of the food did not match the lofty prices, leaving us thoroughly disappointed.
The costata di manzo was mediocre at best, failing to justify its price tag. While the tortellini were passable, the portion size left much to be desired, especially considering the exorbitant cost. This lack of effort and attention to detail is unacceptable for a restaurant claiming to be modern and upscale.
To add insult to injury, when we modestly brought this last issues to the attention of our server, her response was indifferent at best, displaying a lack of accountability and customer service. While it's understandable that the restaurant may have been short-staffed, this should not excuse the subpar dining experience or the inflated bill we received.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against dining at Osteria BorgoVentidue. Save your money and seek out establishments that prioritize quality and customer...
