First of all, the entrance is odd and uninviting. To get to the actual tables, you have to pass by the kitchen area where fish are left out in the open, uncovered—not exactly the best first impression, especially for a seafood place.
The owner's and waiter’s attitude was downright unpleasant, with clear signs of arrogance and a superiority complex. There was also an unsettling vibe of discrimination—we made a minor mistake in Italian, and the owner instantly labeled us as "the English," with clear disdain. For a place in the EU, the unwillingness to speak even basic English is baffling.
No one bothered to actually guide us to a table—we were just pointed at, with visible annoyance. Asking for a menu felt like we’d just insulted them personally, and only then did we learn (in a roundabout, begrudging way) that they don’t even accept card payments—something that isn’t written or mentioned anywhere ( we found out from other reviews because when we tried to ask the owner about that he was downright ignoring us).
Frankly, the whole experience felt like a joke at the customer’s expense. We left before ordering, without paying anything (not even the infamous coperto) because it simply wasn’t worth it. This is the kind of inherited family business where customer respect is non-existent, and they rely solely on the location to draw people in.
Absolutely would not recommend—plenty of better, more professional...

We waited around 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging our existence. Asking if we could pay by card was met with a powerful silence, followed by the owner promptly walking away to serve a nearby table — surprise — speaking Italian.
Card payments? Not a chance. It's a charming little "cash only" system that makes you wonder what century you've stepped into — or what kind of creative accounting might be going on.
After five more minutes of standing there like background props, we decided we'd had enough culture for one day and left.
Honestly, the five-star reviews are baffling. Maybe there's a secret menu or handshake we missed.
Avoid, unless you enjoy paying (in cash) for the privilege of...
Read moreUnfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting — not at all what you’d expect when going out to enjoy a meal. The owner came across as rude and dismissive, which really set a negative tone from the start.
The only redeeming quality was the food, which was decent — but definitely overpriced for what it was. You’re better off finding another spot that actually values its guests and offers a more welcoming experience. Not...
