Hanta Yo — Restaurant in San Felice del Benaco

Mine and my wife’s first day in Italy with our baby. We’ve been to 2 different restaurants today for lunch and dinner and both were amazing, friendly and welcoming.

We saw the reviews for this place and couldn’t wait to check it out as it’s next door to our accommodation. We thought we would go here for dinner tomorrow as it’s my wife’s birthday, we decided to go check it out tonight and was turned away at the door when we asked to come in for a drink, they saw us as a foreign couple with a baby and instantly turned their noses up at us at the door! Absolutely disgraceful. Very disappointing considering how nice everyone in Italy has been so far.

Safe to say won’t be going here ever again. I would take your money elsewhere where there’s so many nicer places around, these guys are arrogant snobs, ignore the good reviews it’s a joke of an...

Well.....what can I say!! A completely awesome place, an so hidden!! You wouldn’t know it was there! But if you find it, or look for it, make sure you go!! The people are so friendly and owner is a top guy....an he loves big trucks! So plenty to talk about! It’s definitely a locals haunt!! But I recommend as a tourist getting there! Even if your an hour away, is worth the trip! The fajitas are beautiful, an chicken falls apart! I had a starters before, but it was not necessary an I can eat!! Thanks again for your lovely food an wonderful place...the decor is amazing an just 5* all the way!! Thanks from all of us an can’t wait to see you...

convinti dalle recensioni positive pensavamo di andare in un ristorante messicano ma a tutti gli effetti è una birreria (ben fornita) dove una proposta e' in parte un menù messicano. Siamo stati all'esterno (decisamente meglio d'estante) e sicuramente la zona esterna non valorizza l'originalità degli interni. Personale molto giovane, gentile e simpatico nonché disponibile ai consigli ed il proprietario decisamente un originale padrone di casa che passa fra i tavoli per parlare e salutare i commensali. Per quanto riguarda il menù molto completo anche sugli ingredienti ma proprio per questo un pochino complicato all'inizio orientarsi. Abbiamo preso diversi piatti con l'idea di assaggiare più cose viste le ottime recensioni. Ebbene devo dire che questa volta non sono rimasto deluso per quanto mi riguarda il menù messicano da me degustato fuori dal Messico più saporito e per nulla banale nelle scelte e nella qualità dei prodotti. Devo dire comunque che in messico spesso non ho mangiato meglio. Ovviamente deve piacere il piccante che qui si sente veramente! Siamo senza dubbio siamo rimasti soddisfatti della proposta ... menzione speciale per il Chorizo ... spettacolare con...
