Caffè dell’Ussero a Villa Corliano — Restaurant in San Giuliano Terme

It was quite a drive from Lucca but read good review about the place. It’s a fairly run down villa that really needed come clean up and renovation. The sitting out in the “garden” was filled with insects and the waiting staff not too friendly except for a young lady. They don’t speak much English and there is just another German couple besides us that are foreigners. Some how we felt that they provide more care and courtesy to the Italians. We ordered the pre fix dinner as did a table of Italian family not far from us. Our appetizer was left on the table without any explanation on what we are eating while the Italian family received quite a lengthy explanation on the different food on the plate that’s the same as ours and served at the same time. It might be that their English is limited but if so, they didn’t put any effort at all to try or provide any courtesy. It really makes us feel unwelcome and a bother to them. Very disappointing. Herşeyiyle mükemmel. Yemeklerin her biri inanılmaz lezzetli ve özenliydi. Çalışanlardan Alida ve servis yapan genç hanımefendi işinde çok iyi ve özenliydi. Alida arnavut olduğu için çok sıcak ve yakın hissettik.
