Osteria Del Padre — Restaurant in San Salvo

Fantastic nice little restaurant, with a super energetic serviceminded waitress made us our own Menu Turistico with the help of Google Translate. Although we would prefer the Italian menu 😉 We was delicious Pizza Fritta while we were waiting, followed by a wonderful appetizer of cold cut and cheese. The pasta with beans was great, and I think we got the pork steak or Google made a mistake in translation. But it didn't matter, it was great. Locals set the genuine Italian feeling. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, and we will be back to taste your pizza....

Servizio scadente. Menù inesistente con il "cameriere" che legge quattro piatti di ristorazione, dice lui, da un block notes che ha in mano, mentre per le pizze ci dice che basta chiedere semplicemente quale vogliamo.... Abbiamo preso un antipasto misto del posto composto da due fette di pomodoro e due di mozzarella, due di salame piccante, due pezzetti di frittata di pasta, delle fettine di formaggio e due di lonza, una pizza Margherita e due spaghetti al pomodoro. L'impasto della pizza era buono ma la mozzarella era amara di sapore il che mi ha suggerito di evitare di mangiarla, probabilmente era stata mal conservata. Gli spaghetti erano fatti bene con i pomodorini pachino se non fosse che ce li hanno portati con molto ritardo e solo dopo avere chiesto al "cameriere" che fine avessero fatto. Conclusione, se proprio volete mangiare qui scegliete il menù ristorazione ed incrociate le dita. The service is a mix. The waitress is very pleasant and knows how to deal with customers. The guy is not friendly. The food is ok. Not for the non italian tourists, in my view.
