Luuma Steak — Restaurant in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio

I went here with 3 others and first off we were abit confused that the prices were per 100g, because we have never seen this before and we have been to countless steak houses in multiple countries, but we ignored it. We were ordering out steaks and we were recommended the T-Bone steak as we were told it would be cheaper and was suitable for 4. We believed it. The steak comes undercooked, abliet still amazing but not even half the size it shouldve been (bearly suitable 2 nevermind 4) and it came with nothing else whereas back in the UK which is alot more expensive it would come with salad and chips and afew other things. This did not. In the end the steak was €115 as we were charged for the bone and if we went for the 4 individual steaks, which would've had MUCH more meat it would be €114. We walked out with a bill for €165, still hungry and very disappointed. For comparison, a place in the UK which is a place as I stated, alot more expensive would've had salad, chips (fries) included would've been cheaper and to be quite honest, nicer. Purtroppo abbiamo vissuto una brutta esperienza in questo locale. Il posto è bello, il personale è cordiale ma privo di serietà e trasparenza. Abbiamo richiesto la carne “Swami Danese” (7.5€ l’etto) ci è stato semplicemente detto “No ragazzi, questa no” senza aggiungere nient’altro. Ci è stata quindi consigliata una carne a detta del cameriere con un buon sapore, non troppo magra ma nemmeno eccessivamente grassosa senza specificare se il prezzo fosse uguale alla carne non disponibile da noi richiesta o più cara. Inoltre il cameriere ci specifica che aveva un peso di circa 700/800 grammi. La carne servita non aveva un sapore spettacolare e in più era strapiena di grasso, tant’è vero che uno dei camerieri ha notato i nostri piatti pieni di grasso da noi scartato. La cosa più grave è che al momento del conto abbiamo trovato una carne non presente sul menù (infatti nessuna carne citata nel menù ha un prezzo di 9.50€ l’etto come riportato sullo scontrino) e con un peso nettamente superiore. In sostanza 145.00€ per una fetta di carne e 2 contorni; a questo punto mi ritengo fortunata a non aver ordinato antipasti, dolci e vino. Ve ne avrei dati anche 170/180€ ma non per mangiare una carne del genere e sopratutto senza farmi prendere in giro in...

Non sono solita fare recensioni, forse non le ho mai fatte , ma c’è sempre la prima volta, e ho il piacere di farla proprio qui.! Nonostante ci sia un rapporto di amicizia con i proprietari, sono sempre molto sincera nell esprimere le mie opinioni, e qui possono solo essere positive e non lo dico tanto per dire. Il cibo è buonissimo , di ottima qualità , basta guardarlo e soprattutto sentirlo al palato , con prezzi regolari, se si vuole mangiar bene bisogna anche essere consapevole di quello che paghi! Servizio semplice , con persone educate, gentili e sempre a disposizione! Il locale è bellissimo, contrasti di stili ma che messi assieme rendono il tutto speciale. Sono felice per voi ragazzi, x ciò che state realizzando , vi auguro il meglio perchè lo meritate! Al giorno d oggi è difficile fare dei passi così importanti , aprire un locale, ma voi lo avete fatto , e spero possiate ricevere tutte le vostre soddisfazioni, xke con impegno e passione in ciò che fate c’è la farete!
