We just finished a wonderful night at Patricia’s terrace. I call it “night” because the experience goes far beyond the excellent food and drinks, which are all very fresh and delicious. Sharing a table with other guests was lovely and makes the evening much more interesting and unique. The experience is also beautiful due to the whole reason why she started it in the first place. Patrizia is an excellent, authentic, welcoming funny, and chatty host. Along with the food and the lovely guests, she is the star of the night. While she wasn’t cooking, she welcomed us and was part of the conversation, asking questions to the whole group. The dishes are ordered in advance through WhatsApp and the prices are extremely fair. When she sent the menu beforehand, everything seemed so tasty I wished I could go there multiple times to try other dishes. The whole team (her and her family) is experienced and made serving 14 people with the highest quality seem an easy task (despite surely not being easy at all). Should be booked in advance, and seems like it can be booked for private groups as well. Thank you...
Read moreWonderful experience! Patrizia has decided to open her house to anyone seeking good food and company. After making a reservation (mandatory), Patrizia will send you a vast menù, full of Sicilian delicacies. You need to choose the food in advance, with the exception of drinks. My partner and I had caponata, psta con vongole e pesto di pistacchio, busiate con pesto alla trapanese e polpa di granchio, calamaro arrosto con crema di lenticchie e finocchietto, sarde allonguate e cannolo scomposto. Everything was delicious! I'm from Palermo, and I can say that these are all authentic Sicilian dishes. The experience is enriched by the desire of Patrizia of sharing her story and make people have conversations, which is why Sicilians are obsessed with food: a meal is a great opportunity to enjoy a couple of hours with family and friends. Absolutely recommended!...
Read morea truly special experience that I would recommend to everyone. The food is excellent, delicious, authentic. The portions are large. If I could, I would try more dishes. Patrizia of course works in the kitchen so that guests don't have to wait for their food, but that's not the point of the experience. The point is that you get to know other people sitting with you and exchange your experiences with other travelers. At the same time, you get to taste dishes that are harder to find in restaurants. The prices are completely comparable and acceptable. Castelluzzo is a charming town with beaches nearby and very accessible to the popular place San Vito Lo Capo (15 min), so I recommend that you find accommodation there and visit Patrizia on foot, and that way you can enjoy delicious and cheap wine without a guilty conscience. We will...
