Aloha Mare — Restaurant in Santa Teresa di Riva

Absolutely amazing fine dining, great price/quality ratio.

Food. We ordered mixed seafood plate for starter. Got two plates of various seafood, best representation of the restaurant. Lot's of choices, everything prepared tasty, but simple - shrimps, octopus, calamare, different kinds of fish. For main we ordered linguini with shrimp and fish eggs. I have never thought that fish eggs in pasta would make such a great addition (you can see fish eggs in photo on a fork). Tried them separately - didn't enjoy it, together in pasta in adds extra nice flavour and I could say makes a good substitute for cheese.

Staff. Smiles from the moment we came. Our waiter made really good introduction to different choices, explaining food and why it is prepared in a special way. Spoke perfectly in English.

Antipasti, main, bottle of wine would cost you 50-60eur per person. Quality of food makes it worthy.

I am a Chef and Business owner my self and Italian:) so I guess my opinion will count... and I usually don’t rate any place as I think ratings are made from too many unqualified opinions...

We arrived before the opening time with my wife and my two years old son, and the owner him self, surprisingly welcomed us to sit and order:)

Great food and great menu! Great look of the dining terrace and great see view, great service and fast and accurate cooking!

The primis (pasta and seafood dishes) were very tasty. The main (calamari, grilled meats, and grilled tuna) were very small. The place was overly priced in comparison to the other great restaurants in the area. If you enjoy more formal restaurants, this would suit you more. However, after we were served our meal the wait staff ignored us. We had to ask for water. Then we went and paid at the lectern by the door. Was greeted by a rude woman who became upset when my spouse pulled the tap away too soon. Was about to react until my better half told me it was best to leave and forget the place....
