If I could give this place 10 stars I would - our absolutely favourite place in Santo Stefano Di Camastra and we’ve gone back almost every day we’ve been here. The food is amazing. I’d recommend it all, the arranchina, the focaccia, any of the pastries, the brioche and granita as well as the cannolo and gelato. Some of the best food I have ever had in my life! And then there’s the service; every staff member is so kind, welcoming and helpful. They made great recommendations and made the language barrier seem non existent. They also helped us out when we accidentally left our credit card there one time haha! We were made to feel comfortable and at home. It’s an absolutely fantastic place. I would have posted more pictures but everything was so tasty we would start eating before I remembered to take a picture...

A bar stop is essential if you have walked up the very steep hill from the station in Santo Stefano in the heat!! We had and were desperate for some sustenance. The food was OK but not historic, using slightly sweet brioche for savoury pastries. The beer was cold but only in 33cl bottles (a "thimble full" in view of our need). Die Bar da Franco in Santo Stefano ist ein wahres Juwel, das ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann. Wir hatten das Vergnügen, draußen am Straßenrand zu sitzen und das mediterrane Flair in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Die bunten Sonnenschirme und gemütlichen Tische verliehen dem Ambiente einen besonderen Charme.

Das Eis, das wir bestellten, war himmlisch. Die Auswahl an Geschmacksrichtungen war beeindruckend, und jedes Bissen war ein Fest für die Sinne. Die Kugeln waren reichhaltig und cremig, und die Qualität der Zutaten war unverkennbar.

Der Kaffee bzw. Espresso war das Highlight unseres Besuchs. Perfekt zubereitet und in eleganten Tassen serviert, bot er ein intensives Aroma und einen unvergleichlichen Geschmack. Jeder Schluck war ein Genuss.

Das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal trug zu unserer großartigen Erfahrung bei. Die Bar da Franco ist ein Muss für alle, die das Beste aus ihrer „Bar-Erfahrung“ herausholen möchten. Hier findet man nicht nur köstliches Eis und exzellenten Kaffee, sondern auch eine einladende Atmosphäre und einen erstklassigen Service.

Unbedingt auch den Park und die Aussichtsplattform 100 m weiter die Straße...
