The blond lady owner of the bar will try to scam you trying to let you pay double when paying with card, pretending the first payment failed, hiding the receipt and asking you to pay again. The food was mediocre for Sicilian standards. The single items cost on the receipt are also all under the same voice, allowing them to have increased tourist prices eventually. The bar is kwnon in the area for doing these things, but apparently they keep doing it, sadly leaving a bad shade on the whole...

Forse una delle migliori granite con brioches di Santo Stefano, peccato però che essendo una coppia di turisti, ci siamo ritrovati per ben 2 volte diverse con dei prezzi maggiorati sullo scontrino. Alle persone del posto la granita con brioches veniva fatta pagare 2.50€/3, ai poveri turisti invece, il prezzo veniva magicamente maggiorato.. arrivando così a pagare 10€ per 2 granite e 2 brioches (invece che 5/6€). Facendolo notare lui risponde che non è vero naturalmente che alle persone del posto c'è un prezzo e per i turisti un altro. Stesso discorso è valso per la pasticceria mignon, dove il "gentilissimo" proprietario alla cassa, ha palesemente battuto 5€ per 3 MINI cassatine, senza naturalmente pesarle (almeno avrei pensato che il prezzo era al kilo e non al pezzo) ma invece una volta ordinate e messe in un vassoietto, ha guardato la collega e con aria molto furba ha battuto 5€. Potete tranquillamente capire che il prezzo è stato fatto a forfait, arrotondando di parecchio il prezzo reale, dato che non credo che una singola cassatina mignon costi 1,66€! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Consiglio? Se ci riuscite a questo punto, cercate di fare un accento siciliano, magari...
