What a wonderful, wonderful place! My son and I visited this restaurant this evening and absolutely loved the experience. The food was incredible - we weren't very hungry (sadly), so we only had mains and shared a desert. The portions were very generous and fair. I had the lovely Pasta alla Norma- it was absolutely wonderful. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection, it was of a very high quality. The sauce was dreamy. The aubergine is a tricky one to cook and I often get undercooked or dry version of my favourite veggie, but here it was just perfect. Soft like butter, but not oily at all. My little son had a plate of grilled seafood, and absolutely loved every bit of it. He is a 7 years old foodie that isn't easily impressed (😉) but he gave this dish 10/10. We shared an ice cream twist on tiramisu which was lovely. We also had water, which was served cooled with ice on the side (just perfect), and yummy juice.

The service in this restaurant is simply INCREDIBLE . We felt welcomed and looked after. The restaurant was packed full of people, yet there was no chaos or panic. We got a recommendation for this restaurant from locals. My husband and I came for dinner. I was surprised that my meal arrived first, and then nothing happened for quite a while. Just when we thought they had forgotten about him, his food finally arrived too. The food was absolutely fantastic, with perfectly balanced flavors. We were also offered dessert, which exceeded our expectations as well. But what completely ruined the impression of our evening, though, was a waitress who came over and said something in Italian, and then the head waiter showed up, telling us we had to pay for our dinner. That wouldn’t have been a problem if we didn’t still have glasses of wine and unfinished drinks in front of us. In my opinion, that was totally inappropriate. Please, wait for the guests to say they are ready to pay, or at least let them finish...

Excellent restaurant with an authentic Sicilian cuisine.

Fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, full of flavour dishes, good service, clean place.

All dishes we ordered were excellent and the food quality is what I value the most. Sometimes in Michelin star restaurants you cannot find that well-balanced dishes.

Highly recommend: starters tasting (mix of seafood dishes and crudi), sarde a beccafico, pasta con le sarde (excellent), involtini a pesce spada con caponata, even just a tomato salad was excellent. Definitely try their variation about tiramisù and pannacotta which are served with the ice-cream instead of traditional mascarpone or cream. Mouth-watering and much lighter.
