Ambra Day — Restaurant in Santu Diadòru/San Teodoro

Whilst the place is very trendy and modern, I feel like it’s lacking something. I visited Ambra Day on my holidays. When a female member of staff approached us for our order I asked her about the recommendation of the cocktail as I had no idea of anything being served there and also as a non - Italian speaker found it hard to understand the menu. I have a feeling that the girl did not speak much English as after my question she said okay and walked away. After a few more moments another staff member came by and I have decided to order unknown.

Was surprised by a plate of delicious little tapas served with our drinks, but must say that the cocktail that I have received was the worst thing I have ever tasted! It was simply not my taste. I only wish that staff could help us more in making our choice as I did not even had more than 3 sips from it and instantly regretted spending €10 on it.

Music was great as well as the atmosphere surrounding the place....

Food Poisoning: attempt to ruin the holidays I went to the Ambra day the night of the final of the Euro cup. To accomodate the big crowd they offered a fix menu with either burger or calamari. 5 out of 8 people had the burger and in 3 we had clear symptoms of food poisoning. One of the worst experience I’ve ever had here in San Teodoro! We reserved 4 hours before and asked for a good table to watch a soccer game. The guy on the phone told me that the table is reserved. As soon as we arrived there they told us that we did not call and the table was not reserved. I showed them the number I called and as they were arguing that we did not call the right number I called the number again in front of them. The guy arguing with us got the call on his phone and was very rude! They gave us a table after a while where we could not watch the game as the place was in the corner somewhere. Very sad as we were looking forward to this !

Das ist mit Abstand das schlimmste Erlebnis, welches wir hatten in einer Bar hier in San Teodoro. Wir wollten Fußball gucken und haben rechtzeitig telefoniert und reserviert. Angekommen warf man uns vor, wir hätten nicht reserviert. Ich zeigte die Telefonnummer, die ich anrief und die Kellner behaupteten, dass es verkehrt wäre. Nachdem ich erneut die Nummer anrief, klingelte bei eben diesem Kellner das Telefon. Am Ende gab man uns einen Tisch bei dem Man nichts sehen konnte. Absolut unzuverlässig und unmöglich.
