Never ever again at la mesenda!!!!

Great place for waiting..... We ordered a mix of Antipasti (insalata mista, caprese, bufala e parma, melanzane) which are cold and really easy dishes - we waited almost an hour! The waiters didn’t apologize or explained why it took so long - for us it seemed like they forgot about us. Especially because tables next to us were coming after us and received their food before! The antipasti looked boring and tasted not very special. In the meantime we ordered a water which we never received! As a main dish we ordered Pizza, the dough tasted like a wet, old towel - one was burned! At the end the waitress still didn’t apologize for the long waiting time and also didn’t offer a coffee, dessert, Grappa for free - which you really should do.... On top of that they charged us 12€ for coperto (service).....which service???

First and last time - total...

Food and service was superb. Although we made our full effort in Sardinia to speak as much Italian as we could, it was nice to come to this restaurant and speak some English again. They had a full English menu too. The food was delicious and unique. Pasta dishes we haven't ever had before. They were also flexible with changing ingredients and toppings too. Most of the restaurant is really classy. Much nicer than the rest in San Teodoro. Would highly recommend for a wonderful dinner...

6 Canadians show up, we get the last table way in the back by ourselves, might as well have been in the alley out back. 4 meals show up at once, the other two don’t show up until the first four were done eating. Got several of our orders wrong, didn’t make the take-away dish we ordered, forgot our wine. We were too tired to argue so we dealt with it but there are way better options in San Teodoro,...
