Zero Distanze — Restaurant in Scarlino

I would love to give zero stars but unfortunately it's not possible. We made such bad experiences that I'm still upset about it. We wanted to go there because our host told us they have a nice area outside where you can sit and eat near by the water. We didn't know that we better should have reserved a table. So we went there one evening and asked friendly for a table. The waitress who looked really really unfriendly from the beginning turned around without any word or hand sign or whatever and walked away. We waited there for about 10 minutes but as she didn't come back we decided to leave and went in a restaurant with friendly employees. As my partner really wanted to try it again we tried to call there two days later in the noon to reserve a table. Eventhough the restaurant was open no one picked up the phone. So we decided to go there because we were nearby. The same waitress (woman with a ponytail and dark hair) snaped at us in italian. We said we would like to reserve a table for the evening and came in person because we couldn't catch someone on the phone. She turned around again and gave us a card and barked at us we have to call the number on the card to reserve and walked away - it was the same number we already called H A H A. We were speechless. We never were treated THAT unfriendly in any restaurant before. I worked as a waitress myself for many years and you simply CANNOT (!!!) treat guests like that. We would never ever again try to go there and can't recommend to go there. Maybe if this person doesn't work there anymore we would give it another try but as long as that we unfortunately have to give zero points for...

Non credo di aver mai incontrato un servizio più arrogante e maleducato. Non ho mai lasciato una recensione negativa ma ci è davvero stata rovinata la serata. Abbiamo prenotato a mezzogiorno per la cena senza grandi aspettative poiché in 10 persone, però fortunatamente ci hanno riservato un tavolo per 10 alle 22.15 (orario rispettato). Ci sediamo e ci godiamo la bella vista. Non avevamo neanche il menu in mano e ci viene detto dalla cameriera “allora che facciamo, un po’ di misto pesce?”. Pensiamo ad un errore in buona fede, ma a questo punto non ne siamo sicuri. Chiediamo tempo per ordinare. Ordiniamo una pizza senza glutine (motivo per cui ci siamo recati in quel posto preciso) perché presente nel menu sul sito (indicato come menu primavera 2022), ma ci viene detto che non viene più fatta (effettivamente sul menu in loco non è presente). Magari se c’è un cambiamento così grosso come la disponibilità di impasto senza glutine, non proprio comune, aggiornate come minimo il sito! Chiediamo allora delle patatine fritte (unico allergene 5: arachidi), ma hanno il glutine (allora indicate l’allergene sul menu!). Però va beh, non è questo il problema, ordiniamo altro. Però la ragazza che mangia senza glutine aveva scelto questo posto esattamente per poter prendere patatine fritte e pizza. Alla fine però fa niente, si ordina altro. A questo punto non avremmo guidato 30 minuti per raggiungerlo, ma saremmo potuti andare ovunque. Viene chiesto un risotto alla pescatora senza pomodoro e 2 normali, ma la cameriera ha imposto agli altri 2 di prenderlo senza pomodoro, con un’arroganza impressionante. Accettiamo per non fare polemica. Chiediamo poi un bicchiere di prosecco. Ci arriva una cosa che tutto era ma non prosecco (chi lo sa). Abbiamo fatto presente la situazione e invece che scusarsi hanno continuato a insistere con arroganza e supponenza, sostenendo che fosse prosecco. In pratica hanno visto 10 ragazzi giovani e hanno pensato di prenderli per i fondelli. Alla fine ci siamo un po’ imposti e ci è stato portato un vero bicchiere di prosecco, ma quasi come se fosse un nostro capriccio dicendo “ti ho portato un Franciacorta” con un tono quasi di sfida. Imbarazzante. In seguito a questo episodio la cameriera ha cercato di recuperare con qualche battutina, ma trovo abbastanza assurdo un modo così maleducato di porsi. Invece bravissima e molto simpatica la ragazza con gli occhi blu ed il tatuaggio con le stelline (scusami, non so il tuo nome!). L’unica fra le 3 che ci hanno servite che si salva. Sconsigliatissimo. Hanno visto dei ragazzi giovani e non del posto e hanno deciso di essere antipatici e di cercare di fregarci, tanto sapevano non saremmo mai tornati poiché turisti. Ci hanno rovinato la serata, un pessimo clima. Peccato perché la location è molto carina

RISPOSTA: Cosa significa che la responsabile è arrivata da pochi mesi da Milano? Che essendo di Milano è fredda? (che luogo comune!) Noi viviamo a Milano e le posso garantire che non abbiamo mai incontrato così poca educazione da parte di un lavoratore della ristorazione! Purtroppo in questo caso non si può parlare di distacco dato dalla professionalità, ma vera e propria arroganza e maleducazione. Non vedo nessun "commento da Masterchef", in quanto io ho espresso un'opinione esclusivamente sulla gentilezza nei nostri confronti. Un errore può capitare, ci mancherebbe, ma il prosecco era visivamente grigiastro e sgasato, non credo servisse un assaggio. Anche solo con la vista poteva sorgere il dubbio. Anche noi siamo dei lavoratori e molti di noi hanno lavorato in ristoranti e bar durante gli studi, per cui assolutamente possiamo immedesimarci! Infatti nessuno mette in discussione il fatto che possa capitare di avere imprevisti o commettere piccoli errori, il problema è come viene trattata la clientela. Posso capire che debba difendere a priori il proprio locale, ma purtroppo non era presente quando ci sono state date certe risposte, con certi toni. Comunque, come potrà anche lei riscontrare, non è la prima recensione che evidenzia la scortesia...

Food amazing, View amazing, service average Don't come here for the service, because while it's not awful - it's nothing to jump up and down over. The food was fantastic! Better than I'd anticipated, and the view was mesmerizing. Given that we were there in the middle of the afternoon (in June) when the sun is at its hottest, it's quite a feat for a view to be that incredible even in day, rather than solely at night. Looking out at the yachts and other boats at port, the restaurant itself and the view gave you the sense that you were in a particularly posh place, even if you were paying very average prices.

I actually ordered something that wasn't even on the menu: smoked salmon with pappardelle pasta and panna. INCREDIBLE. Absolutely one of the most delicious things ever. Even if I got the stink eye from my Italian date who said you can't mix salmon with pappardelle (since the pasta is made with eggs). Picky, picky.

The place was full, but even though there were a lot of people, it was super relaxing and calm. The wine was very good, both the red and white that each of us had, and the dessert was pretty good as well.

I would definitely recommend this place as a reasonably priced location, average service, delicious food and an amazing view to go along with...
