Unfortunately, very rude service. I was clearly very basic with my Italian language skills and was met with impatience. I was dining with my two young boys and it was obvious we needed a bit of room to manoeuvre the menu. The woman serving was unfriendly, never smiled and was so abrupt it reminded me of Fawlty Towers. At best the food was passable, the sardine pasta with pine nuts and fennel was a basic student offering covered in a thick layer of dust that was meant to be the pine nuts...my kids were unsettled by the woman taking plates whilst we were still eating and we all felt terribly rushed. The assorted fish antipasti were excellent—tasty and varied, showcasing a wonderful selection of fresh seafood. We had a quick menu, and I have to say this is among the best fish I’ve tasted in Sicily, especially in such a high quantity. Everything tasted very fresh, the quick menu really has a lot of different dishes to try out and it was so abundant that we nearly couldn’t finish it because there was just so much of it - but we fought for it because the food was just that good.
