Osteria Porta Palermo — Restaurant in Sciacca

Of course, as tourists, we at 7 pm were too early for dinner...nevertheless, the restaurant staff welcomed my family to the restaurant and gave us the best table, right at the window overlooking the valley below and the other side of town.

Service was excellent, the food was fantastic. We had pasta, meats, fish and desserts, we loved it. Also, the house red wine is a full recommendation. The desserts were recommended by our friendly waiter, and the panna cotta was extremely good!

The place is an authentic family run restaurants with fresh ingredients , homemade stylish dishes and very reasonable places if you consider that you can easily be ripped off in Sicily when you are a non Italian speaking tourist . I'm not fussy at all, but didn't enjoy my meal. The food is also over priced. Ps: I didn't say that the meal was tasteless but not so good too.!
