Ristorante Mezzaparola — Restaurant in Scicli

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al Mezzaparola, Ristorante a Donnalucata insieme a una coppia di amici. Consigliato da un concierge di un albergo locale, devo dire che le aspettative sono state ampiamente soddisfatte in termini di qualità del cibo e dell’ambiente. La cucina offre piatti di ottimo livello, ben curati e gustosi, che testimoniano la passione e l’attenzione alla qualità che contraddistingue questo locale.

La location è altrettanto piacevole, situata in una caratteristica stradina del lungomare, che conferisce un’atmosfera intima e rilassante alla serata. Bella musica italiana, soffusa e volume adeguato per conversare.

Tuttavia, c’è un aspetto che, a mio avviso, potrebbe essere migliorato: il servizio. Pur riconoscendo la cordialità e l’entusiasmo del personale giovane, abbiamo notato alcune azioni che potrebbero essere evitate per garantire un’esperienza ancora più positiva ai clienti.

Ad esempio, sarebbe opportuno che il personale evitasse di toccarsi il viso o i capelli, così come di interagire con i gatti presenti nel locale, per mantenere elevati standard di igiene e professionalità.

Comprendiamo che si tratta di gesti spontanei, ma siamo certi che con un po’ di attenzione in più, il servizio potrebbe raggiungere lo stesso livello di eccellenza della cucina. Certamente il ristorante ha tutte le potenzialità per migliorare sotto questo aspetto e, proprio per questo motivo, ritorneremo sicuramente il prossimo anno, sperando che questi piccoli suggerimenti possano essere presi in considerazione.

In sintesi, il Ristorante Mezzaparola di Donnalucata merita senza dubbio quattro stelle: un locale dove il cibo e l’atmosfera sono già eccellenti, con margini di miglioramento...

Unfortunately I ordered lupini clams with pasta, the flavour was nice but the clams were very small and mostly closed, another table asked if they were ok, they were told they were, but also how to open the closed ones, the waiter attempted to use a knife. I made the best endeavours opening some with my thumbnails but gave up eating half the pasta. Unsure why this gets good reviews. It was the most expensive meal we had on our holiday and easily the worst. Fritto misto was just too much, and not even good fish. It was dry, way too salty and the quality of the fish was really poor. The pasta was average and nothing to shout about. I think what shocked the most was the bill for 4 at the end of the meal which came to over 250 Euros for a place that's not fine dining and didn't offer...
