Genuinely the nicest pizza I've ever had (which is saying something as I've travelled to many parts of Italy and had countless amounts of amazing pizza but this is genuinely the nicest). The pizza's perfection is in its honesty and simplicity. The staff speak perfect English and they are always very welcoming and offer a warm smile. I asked for takeaway and they were more than happy to accommodate me. Due to everywhere else being closed or just not nice I will be getting my dinner here every night for the remainder of my stay. I would highly recommend you try this pizza. The only criticism I could have would be the portion size, opening hours and service charge but service charges seem commonplace here and I'm a foreigner so it's not my place to criticise it. Il Bar Pizzeria Il Cappellaio Matto a Selvino è un locale che merita davvero una visita, sia per una colazione rilassante, sia per un aperitivo in compagnia o una cena informale. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato, con un’atmosfera che mette subito a proprio agio.

La colazione è un punto forte: ci sono molte varianti tra dolce e salato, dalle classiche brioches ai prodotti più particolari, sempre freschi e ben presentati. Il caffè e le bevande calde sono preparate con attenzione, ed è piacevole iniziare la giornata in questo locale che trasmette energia positiva.

Anche l’aperitivo è da segnalare: viene servito con taglieri abbondanti e ben assortiti, ricchi di salumi, formaggi e stuzzichini che accompagnano perfettamente cocktail e spritz. Un vero valore aggiunto che rende l’esperienza completa e conviviale.

Per quanto riguarda la pizza, è sorprendentemente buona: impasto leggero, ben lievitato e digeribile, condimenti abbondanti e ingredienti di qualità. Le porzioni sono generose e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, soprattutto considerando che Selvino è una meta turistica molto frequentata.

Il personale si distingue per la disponibilità e la cortesia, sempre pronto a soddisfare le richieste dei clienti con il sorriso.
