Bisteccamore — Restaurant in Serravalle Pistoiese

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Bisteccamore! The upstairs covered outdoor seating was very well decorated and created an enjoyable ambiance. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our lack of Italian language skills. They thoroughly explained each item on the menu and made great recommendations. The appetizer was the best meat and cheese we’ve ever had and the Florentine steak was unbelievable. We definitely would recommend the pudding dessert as it was the perfect combination of light and sweet but also provided variety as you receive 3 different flavors. The poolside atmosphere was perfect for an anniversary dinner for me and my husband. Due to COVID, the silverware were all prepacked and set on the table in little gift bags which we thought was absolutely adorable. We loved the appetizer which was a selection of cold cuts and a creamy cheese dip served on a mini wooden dresser with a drawer to keep the fresh bread perfectly warm! The entree we had was a fiorentina steak seasoned and cooked to a perfect al sangue/rare as per tradition at 35€ a kilo which is unheard of in Florence center! Quando si tratta di bistecca sono estremamente esigente, tant'è che porto e utilizzo anche la mia personale e specifica coltelleria da bistecca. Sono stato diverse volte a pranzo, insieme ad un collega, presso lo Steak Home prima del periodo SARS-Cov-2 e adesso, viste le (giustissime!) restrizioni, ho sfruttato il loro grande spazio all'aperto per la cena. Ho sempre trovato ottimo il pranzo, in tutto e per tutto, ma devo onestamente dire che l'ultima volta a cena, con la mia famiglia, sono stato meravigliosamente. Su tutte le volte che sono andato, ho subìto due problematiche. La prima, tempo fa, con una bistecca (costata) con carne molto tenace, che ho prontamente fatto presente al personale di sala rimandandola indietro e che prontamente mi è stata egregiamente sostituita, con tanto di profonde scuse per l'accaduto. La seconda proprio l'altra sera a cena con la mia famiglia, avevano dimenticato di trascrivere la prenotazione e si erano dimenticati di preparare il nostro tavolo: l'imbarazzo e la mortificazione erano ben visibili, ma hanno rimediato prontamente e professionalmente, non solo rispondendo alla nostra richiesta di metterci a bordo piscina, ma anche offrendoci un'ottima bottiglia di prosecco con relativo cesto del ghiaccio; naturalmente scusandosi moltissimo e spiegando le cause dell'accaduto. Insomma, veramente un servizio che, anche in presenza di problematiche, alla fine può solo essere eccellente! Lì si va per mangiare l'ottima/eccellente bistecca (fiornetina e/o costata) con il suo contorno predefinito/abbinato, c'è l'antipasto, ma non altri piatti. Ottima scelta di vini. Spazio esterno che rispetta più che abbondantemente le norme sul distanziamento ecc., personale attento e gentilissimo, location molto bella e fresca. Ho un bambino di 9 anni che ha mangiato tranquillamente il suo bel pezzo di bistecca ecc.. Vino, un nebiolo in decanter, veramente ottimo. Dolci buoni. Prezzo onestissimo!
