This pizzeria appears to be a favorite of locals for take out, and rightly so. We were looking for something quick and simple to eat on a Sunday evening, and happened to find street parking nearby. It is a small family-run place, tucked away in the corner of a small strip of businesses across from some large apartment complexes, with no parking on site.
We ordered a calzoni classico (ricotta cheese and ham) and a calzoni piccante (mozzarella cheese, onion, mushroom, and sausage). Both were mouth wateringly tasty good, featuring fresh ingredients and a light, crispy but chewy crust. We chose to grab one of two tables (both of which are outside) to eat there instead of doing takeout. Our calzonis were served with a small amount of savory tomato pizza sauce ladled on top, which otherwise would be served on the side if doing takeout. It was a perfectly light compliment to the hearty ingredients inside. They also sell many varieties of pizza, whole or by the by the slice, all of which looked delicious.
