Ristorante Il Mestolo — Restaurant in Siena

This restaurant was recommended to us but sadly we were not happy at all. We ordered their five-course-menu. At first the service was good and even tried to explain the dishes to us in English, as our Italian is not so good. But after we ordered the wine which was not from their top shelf, we didn't recieve any form of kindness anymore. Also the quality of the food was not good. Anche se in ritardo ritengo giusto recensire questo locale.premesdo che la cucina di buon livello ma a mio parere non eccezionale. A Siena ci sono ristoranti meno blasonati ma con qualità quanto meno allo stesso livello.. il mio giudizio scarso è dato non dalla qualità della cucina ma dal comportamento tutt'altro che cortese del titolare .. premesso che era la prima volta che mi recavo nel locale, ho notato un comportamento totalmente diverso nei confronti della clientela abituale, con la quale il titolare era ossequioso e cortese... Cosa però a mio avviso ancora più grave, non che il precedente comportamento non lo sia, che mentre stavo ordinando, spiegando delle accortezze per me necessarie per seri motivi di carattere sanitario, venivo interrotto dal titolare per specificarmi che non era possibile consumare una sola portata.. ora premesso che avevo appena iniziato ad ordinare, pertanto non c'erano motivi per cui era necessario sottolineare tale aspetto, ritengo altresì poco elegante per un ristorante così quotato mettere l'obbligo di almeno due portate, nemmeno ci trovassimo in un locale con prezzi stracciati... Ma interrempore un cliente, per tale aspetto, mentre si sta raccomandando per delle attenzioni necessarie per una condizione di salute è una totale mancanza di stile, educazione e rispetto... Cosa altro aggiungere? Credo che sia più che...
