If you are a tourist - RUN!!! We wanted to have some authentic Italian experience before leaving and we got it. Authentic Italian rudeness! I was stupid enough not to check negative reviews, but maybe someone will be smarter. The restaurant serves nicely the locals, but the tourists are not considered at all. Let’s be realistic, they don’t need to have points from tourists as this is practically the only restaurant in a village full of hotels and people staying overnight before their early flight. We arrived at 8 pm and saw a queue of about 6 couples in front of us. We assumed 20-30 min of wait because you could see many tables finishing their meals. How wrong we were! People were leaving, tables were being cleaned but no one was asked to the tables! And no, they were not reserved. After an hour of waiting we finally got our table and chose what to order. However, the waiter arrived and took order from two tables that were seated after us absolutely ignoring the fact that we were smiling at him and waiving him. Another 10 min passed by, those tables at least got their bread, however, not even a taken order for us. When I asked to take our order we got a reply that they are slammed! I asked the waiter to bring us at least drinks (more than an hour standing!), however, he refused!!! For us we decided to leave and waste an hour instead of two we would have stayed. So, my advice: go to another place, eat a bag of chips from the vending machine, go sleeping hungry, but don’t ever (EVER!) set your foot in this...

Wasted time. AVOID. Rude service. I really understand that it was a peak time. 2 of us were told to wait 45 min and we were written down on the wait list. We stood there for 20 min. and noticed that there were 2 tables for 4 people each and 4 tables for 2 people. Total 16 people could have been seated. 20 min after and we haven't seen any people before us being seated. Even queue outside disappeared. They waited for orders for take-away. Only when we were leaving one pair was seated. When I asked why a lot of tables are not available for seating. A waiter told me in a annoyed manner that it is for people put on the list before us. Tables were with 20-00 reservation. No people outside at 20-10 when we were leaving. What a surprise! We went to a nearby restaurant in the hotel and we saw people there who were before us on the waiting list. They just didn't come as I told a water. For 20 min we would already have our meals and would be almost on the finish line. Lost clients. And a lot of clients which I saw in a restaurant nearby. Good job from a young blackhaired female waiter. Also she refused to tell her name. Nonsense. In public services every client has a right to know the name of a person who do services. Not competent worker at all. Cannot handle the situations with a lot of waiting people and organize it the best way. Wow wow wow!! This was the BEST meal we had in all of Italy, and perhaps of our lives! Absolutely AMAZING service! They were poppin and super busy on a Friday night, and we were prepared for a bit of wait- it being one of the only restaurants in town. We walked in with warm smiles, waited for them to have a second to take down our name (which didn’t take longer than 2 minutes); and were told it would be about 15 minutes. We went outside and only waited maybe 5 minutes and they were ready for us! We were seated in a gorgeous dining room, surrounded by locals, and it really gave the atmosphere we were looking for! We had a couple glasses of delicious Sangiovese wine per person, the best octopus ever, gnocchi with duck and a tomatillo sauce, and an absolutely TO DIE FOR pasta with burrata cream, cherry tomatoes, and bacon wrapped prawns! The sauce in that pasta, could be turned into a soup that we would happily have every single day! We finished off the meal with a shot of Grappa; the perfect digestifs! The love, passion, and family perfected recipes truly speak for themselves! 100/10 would recommend! I cannot praise this establishment enough!

We had read some of the negative reviews, and those people truly don’t know something good when it’s in front of them. This was, hands down, the BEST meal we have had on our travels!
