Cocus lounge cafe’ — Restaurant in Syracuse

Summer in Siracusa begins with Brioche con Granita de Mandorla and my first taste at Cocus did not disappoint! Light and airy, the freshly baked brioche was rich and buttery the perfect complement to the sweet creamy almond granita.

Service was lovely--our servers Danila and Monica friendly and accommodating, offering an affogato granita (they only had almond the day we went) when my friend asked for caffe granita with his brioche.

The cafe is clean and bright with both ample space indoor and outdoor on the terrazza. Lots of round tables good for groups, and 2-seaters as well. Centrally located on one of the main shopping roads.

The interior brings the natural world inside with light brown walls and tropical wallpaper in rich greens that somehow make the space seem even more refreshing. I particularly liked the biophilic ceiling design that complememented the other decor.

I hope to visit again...

Eravamo in 8 persone prima di poter ordinare sono passate tipo 15 20 minuti, ordiniamo dei cornetti e dei saccottini con i caffè, per per prima cosa invece di arrivare le colazioni arrivano i caffè dopo circa 10 minuti quando il caffè era ormai congelato chiamiamo la ragazza è gli chiediamo che fine hanno fatto le colazioni e che i caffè ormai erano diventati freddi,ci risponde.....ve li porto subito....dopo un po arriva con le colazioni e si presenta con delle sfoglie e saccottini al posto dei cornetti...allora gli diciamo scusa avevamo ordinato dei cornetti... Sapete cosa ci ha risposto...( Maa TANTO L IMPASTO E UGUALE A QUELLO DEI CORNETTI..). Gli diciamo che se li può portare indietro perché non era quello che avevamo ordinato . Conclusione..... Dovevamo mangiare quello che dicevano loro e il caffè prenderlo mezz'ora prima di aver mangiato...C è molto ancora...
