Totally disorganized wait staff. We waited for more than 30 mintues after being seated with no one acknowledging us. I was ready to leave but my hungry daughters convinced me that we'd already invested half an hour and the place was starting to clear. We saw the waitress for our area giving menus to a couple who'd been seated recently so I finally got up, followed her and asked for menus. She brought the menus, we knew right away what we wanted but she walked off and continued to ignore us. It seemed like she purposely refused to serve us - or else she was totally haphazard about waiting on tables. We finally managed to get drinks from the bus girl (I had to ask when she was clearing the table next to us), paid for those & gave her a tip. We went back to our hotel and ordered from the bar (at Whitebay/Malafemmina - great service there!) All said, if you don't get the waitress from hell, you may be ok there. Mai vista una roba simile e ovviamente nessuno mi ha avvertito. Se non me ne fossi accorto da solo, avrei potuto distruggere qualche dente. La pizza della mia compagna per una buona metà era bruciata. Era stato chiesto di sostituire la mozzarella con le scaglie di grana infornate. Le scaglie si sono parzialmente bruciate e il sapore al palato era molto sgradevole. Nonostante ciò non abbiamo voluto che la rifacessero. Ne è stata consumata meno la metà, ovvero le parti meno carbonizzate. Solitamente non amiamo lamentarci, anche quando abbiamo palesemente ragione. Quando ci è stato chiesto se era andato tutto bene, abbiamo molto gentilmente fatto presente il problema. La giustificazione del cameriere SURREALE: “avete sbagliato voi a chiedere di mettere le scaglie in forno. Il forno a legna raggiunge temperature troppo alte”. Penso che questa risposta non abbia bisogno di ulteriori commenti. Secondo il cameriere dovevamo essere noi a indicare al pizzaiolo in quale momento della cottura bisognava aggiungere le scaglie per averle sciolte ma non bruciate. GENIALE! During our stay at Fontane Bianche, we didn't realize there wasn't any good restaurants near our bnb. We thought we'd give it a try. We kept going back because it was the only decent around because there was nothing here in this town! Our first visit was eh. They did served my side "salad" dry and not fresh- you can't even cut through the eggplant. My boyfriend ordered the swordfish, wasn't too impressed and had to add a lot of salt n pepper.

I tried the calamari and fries and that was safe to order- didn't disappoint as well as pizza we would take away.

During our visits they started getting lazy and lazier with their customer service.

Something to take inconsideration, when you order wine they give you water glasses and not wine glasses because "they ran out". When I could clearly see that other tables had...
