This was absolutely horrible. We decided to stop here as we walked through the town and what a mistake that was. Two people in our party got Ceasar Salad and it was nothing but iceberg lettuce with some dressing on it that had nothing to do with Caesar salad and frozen thawed out shrimp. Another person got a calzone. I dont know what other people here that have posted consider good food, but when I go out to eat I don't want canned products in my food or something from the freezer. The mushrooms I. The calzone were canned. The food was horrible. A child in our party that eats everything that is pasta spit out the noodles from this place.
I was informed by the people at our hotel that it used to be good but has gotten horrible in recent years. A definite no go if you are looking...
Read moreWe started with drinks at 11:30am, two spritz’s and a lemonade. No complimentary snacks (chips or peanuts or both) were offered (many other places do so). By the way, Lambrusco spritz tastes like medicine, I’d not recommend it (staff kindly took it off from my bill). Ordered lunch, tuna tartare (good), vegetable salad (okay), caponata (eggplant, it was hot instead of chilled, but still very good), lasagna (average), mixed grilled seafood (good), half liter of Lugano white wine (16 €), espressos (no small cookie or biscotti offered). Total 108 euros. View is good, staff is efficient. Decoration wise is okay, not as fancy as next door restaurant Da Carlo (cheap silverware here). Overall it is a a good restaurant. 20250704....

The seafood pasta was excellent and gigantic chock full of mussels, clams, shrimp and squid and the sauce was light and really tasty once salted (was under-seasoned to start). The mixed grilled fish platter was ok — some fresher than others, the swordfish was quite plain but sea bass really good. They mention on the menu that some fish may be frozen, which is fair being so far from the Mediterranean and good to know. Didn’t have dessert was too full but the tiramisu...
