We went there as a couple. For a two-course meal we paid 60€. The restsuramt is decorated nicely and has space to not feel crowded.
Sardinian ravioli with potato filling: It was aromatic and intensively tomatic. The filling was fair/fine and smooth. Great course.
Grilled plate of fish: Consisted of a small octopus, a squid, two large shrimp, a small lobster, a fish(unknown, forgot to ask) Spices were rather scarcely used but in combination with oil and citrus it worked well. Flavour was great, fish was soft but firm and flaked on your tongue. Shellfish was great and simple.
Tiramisu: Soft and creamy. Not too special but good.
Chocolate cake with ice cream: One scoop if vanilla ice-cream. Rather standard.. vanilla as one could say.. Cake, awesome! Hard and crispy shell with a soft and hot core that poured out once sliced. Very chocolaty almost raw coco like but sweet and only pleasant.
Drinks: Water and local beer jchnusa crude.
Contra: Chairs !really! need some cushions. Price is on the middle to high end. Side dishes of fries is with 4 bucks a tad expensive.
Pro: Very friendly staff. Fast. Precise. And if you try speaking a bit italian they show you a...
Read moreExcept of ignoring the fact that we obviously weren't happy with the food, everything else was fine regarding staff.
Fried mixed fish for 20€ was not fried enough. The octopus was chewie as a hubba bubba. Sardines were the only thing good in this.
Another dish with pasta and clams was a vegetable broth soup with too much vegetable powder or salt(or both). Clams were good!
Both dishes got back to the kitchen half full. And noone asked why. All in all 70 €. And now we a eating in a fast food restaurant for another 22€ which is much more worth.
Tldr: Food to price ratio definitely not worth. 3/10 staff was okay. Food not. Would not visit again.
Maybe pizza is good, but we...
Read moreI’m not a fussy eater, but the fried seafood starter was honestly inedible. The fish wasn’t fresh — it was chewy, full of bones, and had black bits in it. The prawns were served whole, fried with shells and legs still on, and were unpleasant both with and without the shell. At €25, it was a real letdown.
The pizza was okay, but it had way too much cheese — something I never thought I’d say because I love cheese, but this was overkill. You couldn’t take a bite without having to pull a stringy mess out of your mouth. It ruined what could’ve been a decent dish.
Great service from the staff but the food was really disappointing, i...
