The staff are very friendly and helpful and the nearby beaches are beautiful. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby. Cooking facilities are also good with everything you need, except an oven.
Sadly the apartments are quite drab and you can hear everything going on in the apartment next door as well as a lot of road noise. Plug sockets are outdated and do not fit regular European plugs. Wi-Fi doesn’t work inside the apartments. The worst part for us was the extra costs. You are charged for bed linen and towels as well as cleaning. The pillows are ridiculously thin and uncomfortable. You are also given a bill at the end for gas and electricity which came to over £70 for a one week stay, an unpleasant surprise at the end. There are also extra charges if you don’t meticulously clean and separate your recycling correctly which seems excessive. This is all rigorously checked before you leave. There is a small pool which we did not use at all as you are asked to wear a swimming cap, again at an extra charge if you don’t bring your own, why would you? The pool is also off limits for two hours during the middle of the day for no apparent reason. It is listed as a three star hotel but you cannot class it as a hotel due to the extra fees and cleaning you are required to...
Read moreThe worst timeshare I have ever stayed in. We were met with a receptionist who told us all the rules for the apartment and took us round to a tatty place. We were met with mops buckets and brooms dumped on the drying rack on the patio !!!! Inside when I had a shower the whole bathroom floor was flooded and had to be repaired. Then we were told we had to pay for electricity and if we wanted hot water for a shower to put it on for half an hour. This was not sufficient for us both to have a hot shower and we had to put it on for an hour. This unit was for 6 people and we had to pay 75c a kw hour. |Then we were told the cleaning was free but we wouldn’t get fresh towels or bedsheets unless we paid for them.|Our apartment 101 was very noisy as it was near where the cleaners and gardeners congregated and also near the gate where people entered and left. |It was clean by the pool but again 20 rules posted around the walls. Plus you couldn’t get in the pool unless you bought a hat and you needed to buy a swimming towel.|We kept the place clean and did not cook there and only used the hob to boil coffee. My husband left it spotless but we were told it was dirty by the officious receptionist.|I would not recommend this place to anybody if they want a...
Read moreResidence is really for 2/5.||Bedroom and bathroom is upstears. If four people sleep toghether you can listen to snoring of your friends. But not just your friends, you can listen to your neighbours: speaking, snoring, washing, going to toillet.. everything. Like you are living in the same app. We couldn't rest because our neighbours was waking up early and started to be loud.||The bathroom is so small that only one person can enter, and in the shower can' t enter a person who has more than 80kg.||Cats are in front of the app, it is not ok for those with allergy.||And at the end... you will pay for towels, electricity, water, gas (even you didn t cook) around 30-40€ per week and for two persons. ||Arbatax is not a nice city, streets are full of grass and bamboo, you don t see where to drive. There are lot of holes on the street, and the beach is not clean.||You will need a car. Santa Maria Navarrese is more beautiful town 15 min away, and if you want to see something nice you will have to drive at least 1,5h (Cala Gonone) where are beautiful beaches. Or you will pay 40€ for the boat to see the coast and the beaches from...
