Pizzeria da Scattu offers a diverse menu of Italian cuisine, with a focus on pizzas. While some aspects of the dining experience were delightful, others left room for improvement.
Flavor Highlights: Pizza Gourmet Regionale: Unfortunately, the pizza gourmet regionale fell short in flavor. The toppings lacked the expected richness, and the crust didn’t have the desired crispness. It was a disappointment for those seeking an authentic regional pizza experience.
Other Options: On the bright side, Pizzeria da Scattu offers an extensive selection of pizzas beyond the regional specialty. Guests can explore various toppings and combinations to find something they enjoy.
Service and Ambiance: Service: The service was a mixed bag. While the staff was friendly, they seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests during peak hours. Waiting times for orders and dessert were longer than expected. Also, I have ordered my pizza with a pasta integrale as Kamuth wasn't available as well as the Pizza with the squid ink pasta.
Ambiance: The restaurant has a casual, laid-back atmosphere. White tablecloths add a touch of elegance, but the overall vibe is relaxed and unpretentious.
Final Thoughts: Pizzeria da Scattu has potential, especially for pizza enthusiasts. However, improvements in flavor consistency and service efficiency would elevate the dining experience.

Read moreOverall good. We visited twice, first time for pizza then for pasta. The pizza menu is huge, and will cater for anybody - most importantly the pizza base is very good. The "restaurant menu" which is not pizza or the diner's burgers upstairs, is refined with good options. The pasta was simple, nothing mind blowing, but fine - the cuttlefish ravioli was probably our table's best meal. The restaurant itself is very nice, good outdoor space and refined inside. Staff are ok, much better on our return visit, we did feel a bit left alone when outside on the first visit which led to delays in getting drinks and the bill, but nothing to moan about, just a noticeable difference between our two visits. We did not visit the American diner upstairs so can't comment. So, good enough to return to, fair prices, friendly staff, unfortunately Tortolì is not a pleasant place, a proper tourist trap, but not many other choices in the area so you may as well go and suck up the old school fun fair and tacky shops and enjoy the food and the old town - Thursdays are White Night and the shops open...
Read moreGreat restaurant in Tortolì with typical Sardinian cuisine. They have both seafood, meat and pizza, all very good. It is possible to eat the Sardinian pork (maialetto sardo) with a reservation in advance. I also recommend the Sillala, a spirit made by the house.
The place is big, they have tables outdoor and indoor and also a big room with open roof that does not requires green pass.
There is also an American bar inside the , that's an independent activity, with a colorful environment and American style decorations. The American bar is indoor and it...
