Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio — Restaurant in undefined

I don't quite understand the fascination with dining at Trabocco. The food was very average. Sometimes it is better to focus on quality rather than quantity because there were about 12 dishes, but the presentation and flavors were average. As for the atmosphere, it is not impressive either. It's true that you're sitting on Trabocco, surrounded by sea below you (and if you're lucky, you'll get a table by the balustrade with a view of the water), but the tables are placed one to each other and it feels quite cramped. Solid wood chairs are covered with a thin material, so sitting on them for over 3 hours (that's how long it takes) is quite a feat. All in all, we paid €70 per person plus extra for a bottle of wine. For me personally the food was worth maybe €30-€35 so the rest is probably the price you pay for a place...

Abbiamo prenotato con largo anticipo un cena inquesto trabocco, sfortuntamente ci è capitato un giorno di forte vento e pioggia ma la struttura è bene riparata. La cena è tutto incluso 60€. le persone arrivano dalle 20 alle 21 e 30 ma la cena da quel che ho notato inizia all'incirna alle 20 30. Non abbiamo avuto un menù nè cartaceo nè online quindi non sapevamo cosa avremmo mangiato. Ci hanno portato vari antipasti, freddi e caldi, ilproblema è che ci portavano 1 piattino ogni mezz’ora, questo ha allungato moltissimo la durata totale della cena:3 ore abbondanti. Il ragazzo alla cassa che suppongo fosse il titolare ci ha spiegato che, a differenza di altri trabocchi , loro cucinano tutto in loco e quindi hanno impostato così la cena. Come primo un piatto dimaccheroni e scampi per secondo credo una spigola. Le cameriere, alla nostra richiesta di mano, ci hanno detto che ci avrebbero spiegato le portate passo passo, non è successo. Alla fine della cena abbiamo ricevuto sorbetto al limone (senza cucchiaino) ottimo, caffè e 2 dolcini al bicchiere, tiramisù e mousse di frutti di bosco. Le bevande erano incluse ma potevi scegliere solo tra 2 vini un bianco e un rosè, abbiamo preso il bianco ed era normale. Ci siamo alzati da tavola strapieni alle 23 40 circa. IL parcheggio è un po’ ostico da arrivarci ma è gratis. La location è meravigliosa con delle “finestre” nella pavimentazione per vedere le onde sotto il trabocco: il cibo era abbastanza buono e sicuramente fresco. Do 3 stelle perchè è u’esperienza che bisogna fare se si visita la costa dei trabocchi ma se fosse stato un ristorante di pesce qualsiasi non sarei rimasta soddisfatta. Preferisco meno portate, più scelta(anche sono 2 opzioni a piatto vanno bene) e pagare quanto consumo. Capisco perché hanno impostato l’orario fisso, il prezzo fisso ecc ecc ma a questo punto fare meno portate più ricercate allo stesso prezzo rende il tutto meno pesante e più godibile e forse riuscirebbero a far 2 turni di cena.(in totale ci sono circa 40 posti a sedere). Il bagno è fuori la struttura quindi abbiamo dovuto attraversare la banchina non coperta, sotto la pioggia per potere andare in bagno. Peccato che tutti gli ospiti ci si sono fiondati appena finita la cena quindi mi sono ritrovata gente ubriaca che entrava neibagni sbagliati e non chiudeva la porta, ho desistito e ho aspettato di tornare a casa. Spero che il cibo fosse fresco nonostante il menù sia sempre uguale riguardando le recensioni di google dell'anno scorso e...

Absolute exquisite dining experience from arrival to departure and everything in between ♥️🐟🇮🇹

The restaurant is literally situated above the ocean, supported by rustic timber posts, it looks spectacular.

Entrance via a tree lined path to a wooden bridge that leads you to the magical restaurant where staff are friendly and gracious.

Multiple courses of seafood that are prepared in different methods using a variety of local fresh seafood are calmly delivered, making a relax atmosphere.

Finally a selection of deserts, fruit and coffee complete an amazing dining experience.

I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant especially during the day so the beautiful view of the endless ocean and coastline can be appreciated.
