We spent a week in Tropea and Barone was just across the street from our B&B. The location is amazing, the drinks and apertivo are wonderful and the staff are the best part! Everyday as we walked by theyâd say hello, and chat with us. They made us feel very welcome and took extra good care of us. We were on our honeymoon and they spoiled us! We live in Canada, and their arenât many North American tourists in Tropea. Weâd join them for apertivo and drinks in the evening, and one afternoon even when their kitchen was closed they whipped us up a beautiful snack! Virginia was so lovely - and if you read a bad review about the âapertivoâ a gentle reminder itâs free food they offer you while you drink! Itâs a perfect nibble before dinner. Their nduja arrancini is EPIC!...

I would like another one right about now.
The staff was so-so, the location fine, with a slight view of the sea, but in the touristy part of the town. However, if you want to stay close to the center, this is a good place to eat/drink.
The tartufo was 5 Euro and the coffee my friend...

When I went to pay, I felt I was doing something wrong. All men employees giving us mean attitude. We got bumped into a few times with a lot of arrogance. We didn't say anything because we were scared. We had a wonderful day un Tropea and the day ended...
