This is one of the observation platforms from the height of the city of Tropea towards the sea in the direction of the rock and volcano Stromboli. This viewing platform is the main one in the city. Excellent view on the sea and the old church. If the weather is really sunny and the air has totally no fog or mist in it, it's even possible to see Stromboli volcano...
