Before making my own review and talking about my experience I read out of curiosity some of the reviews on this place and tbh I was quite confused as to why my experience wasnt like the one people were describing. I'd like to start with something I didnt see anyone mentioning; its cleanliness and its hygiene. The table we sat at was dirty but they didnt clean it leaving me to wipe it down with my baby wipes. The rest of the restaurant was at the same level of cleanliness but the restroom was a lot worse (psa I was dealing with a uti and you can imagine what was like). Now about the atmosphere that a lot of people commented on, sure they were a lot of locals which we liked too but ( dont want to come out as rude) the owners family was loud (their kids were there playing around and messing/touching things making the owner yell at them our entire stay, as I am Greek I don't mind the whole loudness side of it but I was kinda of an unpleasant and mostly awkward experience ). Lets talk about the food tho. The menu had plenty of choices when it came to pizza and was indeed cheap but I cant say something good about the taste and the quality of food. Maybe we made a mistake with what we went for (my boyfriend chose the american pizza and I chose something with peperoni and meat) and instead should have gone for the simple Italian style pizza. Nonetheless, the pizza was mid, I wasn't feeling the meat and besides that we couldn't figure out how to cut it and eat as it came as a whole and not in pieces. Everytime I tried to cut it, the pizza was getting all messed up (the toppings were flying off leaving the dough and tomato sauce) again I can understand that I was doing it all wrong but it was pretty annoying not being able to eat my pizza properly (I want to mention that this thing didnt really happen that much with my boyfriends pizza as the cheese was staying at the pizza so maybe wrong choice of pizza ). ATTENTION; We were charged with i guess a service fee of 4,50 euros I think per person (while on freaking Venice we paid 3 euros per person!!!) which idk if it was mentioned in the menu (it was all in Italian and we were barely understanding it) and we failed to see it (again might be our fault) but it kinda left us a bad impression which topped our whole experience (I don't want to suggest that we might have been scammed as we were tourists but Im not completely dismissing it so keep...
Read moreI had the Pizza Bomba, the lady had something with rucola and parmesan, both were excellent, big size, almost couldn't finish mine. They come whole, not cut, so if you are a baby who can't cut their own pizza, not for you, but maybe if you ask them nicely, they will do this for you. The owners have small children around and they are a joy, anyone reviewing this place saying the kids ruined their meal are a bunch of crybabies, those kids only laughed and maybe ran down the alley but not near the tables...The people working here respect themselves and so should you. Food is great, price is amazing, and it really feels like a...
Read moreMai più. Delusa.
Chiudo....
