Ristorante Pizzeria al Bocconcino — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

Accoglienza da rivedere poiché non siamo stati considerati da nessuno finché non abbiamo chiesto noi, nonostante fossimo davanti alla porta da 5 minuti, al punto di essere stata spinta da un cameriere. Arrivati al tavolo dopo una lunga attesa, la cameriera bionda con gli occhiali ci ha chiesto cosa volessimo senza nemmeno avere il tempo di consultare il menù, abbiamo chiesto un’acqua vista la piena estate e ci è stato risposto con un secco “no” finché non avremmo ordinato tutto insieme. Al momento degli antipasti, il primo piatto è arrivato quasi subito, mentre l’altro è arrivato dopo mezz’ora di lunga attesa (le patate al vapore dell’insalata tiepida di patate e polpo erano crude). Dopo un’ora si sono fatti vivi i primi piatti (alle 23:30), i piatti buoni ma nulla di speciale. Al momento del conto ci è stato fatto un conto più alto di quello che dovevamo spendere (gli spaghetti alle vongole 16€ e sullo scontrino erano segnati 25€), errore nostro purtroppo che ce ne siamo resi conto una volta arrivati a casa.

The welcome needs to be reviewed because no one paid attention to us until we asked, even though we had been in front of the door for 5 minutes, to the point of being pushed by a waiter. When we arrived at the table after a long wait, the blonde waitress with glasses asked us what we wanted without even having time to look at the menu, we asked for water given that it was the height of summer and we were answered with a dry "no" until we had ordered everything together. When it came to the appetizers, the first course arrived almost immediately, while the other arrived after a long half hour wait (the steamed potatoes of the warm potato and octopus salad were raw). After an hour the first courses arrived (at 11:30 pm), the dishes were good but nothing special. When it came to the bill, we were given a higher bill than we should have spent (spaghetti with clams €16 and on the receipt it was written €25), unfortunately our mistake that we realized once...

Beautiful location, right in the center of Forte. Outside terrace sits on a big Piazza, surrounded by trees. Also inside is nice; kept in neutral off-whites with popping art. The food is traditional but to die for if you're into classic Italian dishes. Even the most simple Pizza Margarita (note: they are mostly thin crusted in Forte) and Tiramisu, you will savour in your memories for a long time. Servers are quick, a little rough in their manners (unless you come a few times and they get to remember you), as it is very busy and they need to turn the tables. Must go place in Forte but only go with a reservation, as you can otherwise end up waiting...

Awful place and service is even worse.

You can expect following experience at the restaurant:

1. Calling for 1 day long to book a table. Looks like hosts in the restaurant don’t exist at all.
2. After you have made a reservation they would also make you wait for the table up to 1 hour
3. on average waiter would take your order within next 30-40 minutes
4. they will bring you food, which is slightly above average,

In conclusion, i would definitely not recommend you to spend your time in that place, because it wouldn’t gift you with any good memories or experience. Otherwise, there are big risks that your evening would be ruined (they...
