Eresiarca — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

We went to the restaurant as a group of five. A friend found the place, and we were drawn in by the fact that they serve steaks. We ordered several dishes: octopus soup, two pastas, fried fish, and two steaks. Most of the dishes were fine, although two people finished their meals before the other three even received theirs.

The steaks were both ordered at the same time, with the same doneness – medium. First one came out fine in terms of doneness, but the other was almost raw. After trying a piece from the properly cooked steak, it was so disgusting that I literally had to spit it out. We told the staff directly that the steaks were inedible and honestly the worst we’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the waitress tried a piece herself (including the almost raw one) and said it was “delicious.” After that, the service noticeably declined – she came to the table less often, didn’t clean up as attentively, and the smile was gone.

After reading other reviews, it seems we are not alone – while one waiter was visibly concerned with what was wrong with our steaks and proposed to prepare new dishes for us, generally trying to help, that particular waitress did not handle criticism well and got offended. They deducted one steak from the bill, but we still had to pay for the other one.

Some dishes were fine and tasty, but when it comes to steaks, I definitely cannot recommend...

Esperienza orribile: maleducazione e razzismo!

Siamo andati in questo ristorante senza prenotazione in 8 persone, 4 adulti e 4 bambini, appartenenti a due famiglie. Fin dal primo momento, la cameriera una (signora anziana con gli occhiali) ci ha trattato con evidente scortesia e un atteggiamento chiaramente razzista.Dopo che ci ha dato il tavolo e dopo aver deciso cosa mangiare senza alcun motivo e molto irritata ha cominciato a metterci fretta nel ordinare poiché noi non avendo prenotato non avevamo precedenza.... e con tono di gentilezza e con il sorriso gli abbiamo chiesto se e questo il modo di comportarsi con dei turisti, incredibilmente, ci ha buttato fuori senza troppe spiegazioni... Quando abbiamo cercato di chiarire la situazione e detto che avremmo pagato e che non eravamo a mangiare Gratis, ci è stato detto in modo sprezzante di andare a mangiare nelle roulotte come gli zingari, poiché loro sarebbero un "ristorante conosciuto". Questo comportamento ha spaventato i nostri bambini, che hanno iniziato a piangere. Come se non bastasse, tutti i camerieri, insieme al cuoco, sono usciti con aria molto minacciosa e uno di loro ci ha insultato mostrando il dito medio un ragazzo sui 30 anni che portava anche esso gli occhiali.

È stato un episodio terribile e inaccettabile. Sconsiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque cerchi un ristorante dove essere trattato con rispetto e dignità. Evitatelo a...

Badly cooked food by petulant children.

It's very unusual to see a proprietor openly hate his customers, and even more rare to see one turn on them with such raw venom when they fail to understand his "genius".
